Brazil's former president, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, turned himself in to authorities earlier this month, after he was convicted and jailed for corruption and money laundering. Despite that, Lula still has massive support in Brazil, especially amongst the poor, and his Workers' Party have already said he remains their candidate for the next elections.
