Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva narrowly defeated President Jair Bolsonaro in a runoff election on Sunday that marked the end of Brazil's most right-wing government in decades. "There are no signs that Jair Bolsonaro is going to accept defeat. He's said before that if he loses it will only be through fraud, he's tried to cast doubt on the entire process repeatedly," says Christopher Sabatini, a senior fellow for Latin America at Chatham House in London, as Bolsonaro remained silent on Sunday night.
